Matilde Panot et Bastien Lachaud, députés de La France Insoumise, seront en visite en Kanaky-Nouvelle-Calédonie, au cours de la semaine du 6 mai.

Un an après le passage en force de Macron sur le dégel du corps électoral qui a plongé le pays dans une crise politique et sociale sans précédent et qui a coûté la vie à 14 personnes. Ce déplacement est indispensable pour faire un état des lieux social, économique et sanitaire après un an de crise, ainsi que pour échanger sur les discussions en cours sur l’avenir institutionnel de la Kanaky-Nouvelle-Calédonie – Bastien Lachaud.

Les députés LFI ont fait parti de ceux qui ont le plus défendu le non-dégel du corps électoral. Depuis l’incarcération des militants de la CCAT dans l’Hexagone, ils suivent de près leurs dossiers auprès de la justice.

La France Insoumise deputies visiting Kanaky-New Caledonia

Matilde Panot and Bastien Lachaud, deputies of La France Insoumise, will be visiting Kanaky-New Caledonia, during the week of May 6.

A year after Macron’s forceful move on the thaw of the electoral body which plunged the country into an unprecedented political and social crisis and which cost the lives of 14 people. This visit is essential to take stock of the social, economic, and health situation after a year of crisis, as well as to discuss the ongoing discussions on the institutional future of Kanaky-New Caledonia. – Bastien Lachaud.

The LFI deputies were among those who most defended the non-thawing of the electoral body. Since the incarceration of CCAT activists in France, they have closely followed their cases with the courts.
