La Fondation universitaire lance son appel à projets 2025 : un levier d’innovation pour la société kanako-calédonienne

Depuis sa création, la Fondation universitaire de l’Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie (FUNC) propose un soutien à la recherche et à l’innovation pour la Kanaky-Nouvelle-Calédonie. Avec l’engagement de ses mécènes, elle a permis de financer plus d’une cinquantaine de projets contribuant au développement scientifique, économique et social de la Kanaky-Nouvelle-Calédonie et de l’Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie (UNC).

La FUNC renouvelle son engagement en lançant son appel à projets 2025 autour de la thématique « Innovations avec et pour la société ».

Un appel à projets pour imaginer le futur de la Kanaky-Nouvelle-Calédonie

Cet appel vise à encourager des projets qui mettent l’innovation au service du pays et de ses habitants. Il invite les enseignants-chercheurs et enseignants de l’UNC à explorer des thématiques clés pour l’avenir de la Kanaky-Nouvelle-Calédonie, telles que :

  • Le renforcement du lien social et du vivre ensemble
  • L’intelligence artificielle et son impact sur la société calédonienne
  • La résilience et l’autosuffisance face aux défis environnementaux et économiques
  • Les innovations en santé et en sciences biomédicales
  • Le droit et la régulation des nouvelles technologies
  • L’avenir de la Kanaky-Nouvelle-Calédonie à l’horizon 2050
  • Etc.

Avec 4 millions de francs CFP de budget total, la Fondation universitaire souhaite encourager les approches interdisciplinaires et collaboratives, en lien avec les besoins du pays.

Un engagement fort des mécènes pour l’innovation

L’action de la FUNC est rendue possible grâce au soutien de nombreux mécènes, issus du monde économique et institutionnel. Parmi eux, plusieurs entreprises et organisations ont réaffirmé leur engagement en faveur du développement de la recherche et de l’innovation à l’UNC :

  • BlueScope Steel
  • Cegelec
  • D&S Legal
  • Office des Postes et Télécommunications
  • Office Plus
  • SKAZY
  • Etc.

Leur soutien, qu’il soit financier ou en nature (expertises, accompagnement, mise à disposition de ressources), est essentiel pour permettre à la Fondation d’accompagner des projets ambitieux ayant un impact concret sur la société calédonienne.

Comment candidater ?

Les potentiels porteurs de projet ont jusqu’au 1er juin 2025 pour soumettre leur projet.

  • Budget total de l’appel à projets : 4 000 000 F CFP
  • Montant maximal par projet : 1 000 000 F CFP
  • Eligibilité : projets portés par des personnels permanents ou structures internes de l’UNC (collaborations externes possibles et encouragées)
  • Utilisation des crédits : avant le 31 décembre 2026

The University Foundation launches its call for 2025 projects: a lever for innovation in Kanak-Caledonian society

Since its creation, the University Foundation of the University of New Caledonia (FUNC) has offered support for research and innovation in Kanaky-New Caledonia. With the commitment of its patrons, FUNC has funded over fifty projects contributing to the scientific, economic and social development of Kanaky-New Caledonia and the University of New Caledonia (UNC).

FUNC is renewing its commitment by launching its 2025 call for projects on the theme of ‘Innovations with and for society’.

A call for projects to imagine the future of Kanaky-New Caledonia

This call for projects aims to encourage projects that put innovation at the service of the country and its inhabitants. It invites UNC teachers and researchers to explore key themes for the future of Kanaky-New Caledonia, such as :

  • Strengthening social ties and living together
  • Artificial intelligence and its impact on New Caledonian society
  • Resilience and self-sufficiency in the face of environmental and economic challenges
  • Innovations in health and biomedical sciences
  • The law and regulation of new technologies
  • The future of Kanaky-New Caledonia in 2050

etc.

With a total budget of 4 million CFP francs, the University Foundation aims to encourage interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches, in line with the country’s needs.

FUNC’s work is made possible thanks to the support of a large number of patrons from the business and institutional worlds. Among them, several companies and organisations have reaffirmed their commitment to the development of research and innovation at the UNC:

How do you apply?

Potential project sponsors have until 1 June 2025 to submit their project.

Total budget for the call for projects: 4,000,000 F CFP

Maximum amount per project: 1,000,000 F CFP

Eligibility: projects carried out by permanent staff or internal structures of the UNC (external collaborations are possible and encouraged)

Use of funds: before 31 December 2026
